23. 욕심 Greed                                                                         

 

욕심

자신을 버리지 못 하는 것은
The inability to abandon oneself
생각이 많고 욕심이 많은 것
Is having many thoughts and much greed
자신에 자신을 쌓으려 하니
Trying to build oneself upon oneself
자기에 자기를 만들어 가고
Creating oneself through oneself
쌓아 버리지 못 하는 것이라
It's the inability to let go


진리는 자기가 없는 것이며
The truth is the absence of oneself
참의 세계속에 있는 것이니
It exists within the world of truth
진정 찾으려 하는 마음속에 
In the heart that truly seeks
진리가 없으니 자기번뇌 속
If there is no truth within
욕심만 있고 진리가 없어라 
Be greedy and have no truth
