원자 이야기 I Am an Atom

나란존재 원래부터  I am an entity from the beginning
이름없는 존재이나  A nameless existence
무한우주 빈공간에  In the infinite empty space of the universe
가득차도 안보이지  Even when full, it cannot be seen
과거에도 존재했고  I existed in the past
현재에도 존재하며  I exist in the present
미래에도 존재하여  I will exist in the future
영생함을 누린다네  And enjoy eternal life

사람들은 나란존재  People call me
원자라고 부른다네  An atom
나를닮은 모습들은  Those resembling me
원소라고 부르면서  Are called elements
이런저런 이름으로  With various names
나를바꿔 부른다네  They change my name
원자인지 원소인지  Whether I am an atom or an element
이름에는 관심없네  I do not care about names

세상사는 재미로서  For the fun of living in the world
분신하여 분자되어  I become a molecule
어떤때는 사람되고  Sometimes I become a person
어떤때는 나무되고  Sometimes I become a tree
바람되고 비가되고  I become wind and rain
하늘되고 우주되어  I become the sky and the universe
언제거나 어디서나  Anytime and anywhere
변할수가 있어좋네  I can change and it’s good

세상에서 나는하나  I am one in the world
내속에서 나를찾네  Finding myself within
마음이라 보이지도  I cannot see my mind
느끼지도 못한다네  Nor can I feel it
내마음은 하나려나  Is my mind one?
둘이면은 더욱좋고  It’s better if it’s two
하나이면 홀로라서  One is lonely
둘이면은 사랑해서  Two means love

나에게는 서로닮은  I have many friends
많은친구 있다하네  Who resemble each other
얼굴인가 마음인가  In face or in mind
여하간에 닮았다네  Anyway, they resemble
끼리끼리 유유상종  Like attracts like
닮은꼴이 좋다하네  Resembling is good
닮은얼굴 하지만은  Resembling faces, but
같은모습 없다하네  Not the same appearance

나란존재 홀로있기  I don’t like to be alone
싫어하여 함께하네  So I stay together
내모습은 그대론데  My form remains the same
나의이름 없어졌네  But my name has disappeared
사람이다 짐승이다  People, animals
식물이다 곤충이다  Plants, insects
이름들이 바뀌어서  Names change
나의이름 없어졌네  My name disappears

함께하기 좋아하니  I like to be together
넘칠수도 터질수도  I can overflow or explode
터질수도 있다는건  Exploding means
그대로가 자유로움  It’s freedom itself
내마음을 먹기따라  Depending on my thoughts
꽃그리면 꽃이되고  Drawing a flower becomes a flower
새그리면 새가되니  Drawing a bird becomes a bird
함께노는 나는좋다  I like playing together

함께노는 나를보면  When you see me playing
시작함도 알수없고  You can’t tell the beginning
끝이남도 알수없어  Or the end
만물만상 그자리에  Everything in its place
그대로만 있는것이  Just as it is
당연한줄 아는구나  You know it’s natural
시작하니 허공이요  The beginning is void
끝이나도 허공이네  The end is also void

함께한다 함께산다  Together we live
원자들은 원자끼리  Atoms with atoms
분자들은 분자끼리  Molecules with molecules
원자들과 분자들이  Atoms and molecules
별모양에 집모양에  In star shapes, in house shapes
모양속에 모양밖에  Inside shapes, outside shapes
어울린다 같은것과  Fit together, the same
다른것이 조화롭게  And different harmoniously

 

원자 이야기 I Am an Atom

크다거나 작다거나  Big or small
길다거나 짧다거나  Long or short
어둡거나 밝음이나  Dark or bright
곧다거나 굽다거나  Straight or bent
서로조화 이루면서  Achieving harmony
사랑주고 함께산다  Giving love and living together
도움들을 주고받고  Helping each other
어울려서 창조한다  Creating together

하늘에서 부여받은  Given by the sky
신의손과 능력으로  With the hand and power of God
돌덩이를 돌덩이로  A stone is not left as a stone
놓아두지 않으면서  Without changing
다른모양 다른쓸모  To a different shape, different use
바꾸어서 만드나니  Creating by changing
나무한쪽 자연대로  Leaving one side of the tree
그냥두지 않는구나  As it is not natural

창조라는 이름하에  Under the name of creation
펼쳐지는 꿈의생각  Dream thoughts unfold
원자들과 분자들로  With atoms and molecules
다른물질 만드나니  Creating different substances
모양들과 쓸모들이  Shapes and uses
다르다고 한다지만  Though they say different
그모두는 하나에서  They all come from one
출발하네 나에게서  Starting from me

시작과끝 서로들이  Beginning and end
다르다고 느끼지만  Feel different
하나에서 시작하여  Starting from one
결국에는 하나로세  Ending as one
만물만상 그자체가  Everything itself
하나로서 이뤄졌네  Was made as one
원자에서 시작하여  Starting from an atom
원자로서 끝난다네  Ending as an atom

무한하고 무한대한  Infinite and vast
우주속에 존재하고  Existing in the universe
그속에서 영원시간  In the eternal time
희노애락 느끼면서  Feeling joy, anger, sorrow, and pleasure
과거에도 현재에도  In the past and present
미래에도 존재하며  Existing in the future
원자로서 분자로서  As an atom and a molecule
모든만물 영생하네  All things live eternally
