만남 Encounters

사람들은 만남들을 중요하게 생각하네 
People consider encounters important
학창시절 스승과의 만남 
Encounters with teachers during school days
정신적 스승과의 만남 
Encounters with spiritual mentors
종교에서 하나님과의 만남 
Encounters with God in religion
남녀의 사랑의 만남 
Encounters of love between men and women
친구와의 우애의 만남 
Encounters of friendship with friends
사업상 동료와의 만남 
Encounters with colleagues in business
무수히 많은 만남들을 갖고서 살아가네 
Living with numerous encounters
그중 무엇이 중요한지 모르고서 생활한다네 
Living without knowing what is truly important among them
모두들 사람의 몸으로 만나나 
Meeting everyone in body
맘으로는 영원히 만나지 못하는  
But never truly meeting in heart
고독한 세상을 살아가네 
Living in a lonely world
그중 세상에 태어나 참스승과의 만남이 제일 중요하네 
Among them, 

encountering a true mentor born into the world 

is the most important
하나님 속에서 나와 너가 없고 스승과 제자가 없는 
Encounters with a true mentor who makes us one in God, 
그속에서 하나되게 해준 참스승과의 만남 
without you and me and without teacher and disciple
예수의 입에서든 석가의 입에서든 모두 하나님의 말씀 
Whether it's from the lips of Jesus or from the lips of Buddha, 

it's all the word of God
그말씀을 전해주고 구경각에 이르게 해주는 
It's a song that delivers that message 

and brings you to the viewing angle
참스승과의 만남은 이세상 비할바가 없다네 
You're no match for a meeting with a monk
이세상의 행운아중 행운아 라네    
You're one of the luckiest people in the world
이제는 이러한 만남을 생각해 볼때이네 
It's time to think about these encounters
세상에 왔다가 가는 이 지구속에서 삶의 희망을  
The hope of life in this earth that comes and goes to the world
이러한 만남만이 천국으로 가는 길이네  
This is the only way to heaven
