120. 인생의 길이란 The Path of Life
빈손으로 왔다가는 We come and go empty-handed
우리들의 인생살이 This is our life
어디에서 태어났고 Where were we born
가는곳은 어디인가 And where are we going?
나는것은 한조각의 Being born is like
하얀구름 일듯하고 A piece of white cloud appearing
죽는것도 한조각의 Dying is also like
스러지는 구름이라 A piece of cloud vanishing
그자체라 실이없다 In itself, it has no substance
생사란거 이와같네 Life and death are like this
오로지한 물건있어 There is only one thing
항상홀로 드러나서 Always appearing alone
생사구애 받지않네 Unaffected by life and death
이아는자 뜬구름을 Those who know this
원망하지 않으리라 Will not blame the passing clouds
눈물흘려 통곡않고 They will not weep or wail
만나거나 헤어짐을 They will not promise
기약하지 않으리라 To meet or part
기약없는 세계속에 In this uncertain world
나가바로 그것봐라 Look straight at it
그것본자 부처니라 Those who see it are Buddhas
