107. 존재자리01 Place of Existence 01                            

 

존재자리01 Place of Existence 01

우리들은 그자리에 We are always in that place,
항상있어 떠난적도 Never having left,
돌아옴도 없었다네 Never needing to return.
태어나서 보고듣고 Born to see and hear,
생각함이 한순간도 To think without a moment’s pause,
멈춤없는 고해바다 An endless sea of suffering.

일렁이는 파도속에 in the twirling waves
펼쳐지는 행불행이 the unfolding misfortune
자신인줄 착각하고 I thought it was me
무한하게 펼쳐지는 infinitely spread out
현상계가 다인줄로 The development system is multi-layered
착각하여 존재하니 Because you're mistaken

피안이란 어디엔가 Thinking the other shore,
따로있어 가려하는 Is somewhere else,
욕심으로 찾아봐도 Seeking it with greed,
이자리가 그자린데 When this place is that place,
무엇인가 따로있나 What could be separate?
믿지않고 못보누나 Not believing, cannot see.

자신존재 있음에는 For one's existence,
근본자리 존재하여 A fundamental place exists,
그자리에 있음인데 Being in that place,
돈오하면 무얼하나  What good is sudden enlightenment?
점수로서 갈고닦아 Cultivate and refine through gradual practice,
그자리만 지켜보세 Just keep watch over that place.
